Mr. Pinel specializes in labour and employment law as legal counsel, negotiator, or attorney, and acts exclusively for employers. His practice covers all aspects of labour relations and strategic planning of human resources.

He has extensive experience in the negotiation of collective agreements in the private sector, primarily in manufacturing, agrofood, forestry, and services. As a seasoned negotiator, he acts in complex, high-stake cases. Leveraging his advanced skills as a strategic counsellor, he is often called upon to overcome deadlocks in sensitive cases. He regularly counsels and represents employers in all aspects of union accreditations and grievance arbitrations.

Mr. Pinel represents employers before arbitration boards, civil courts and authorities specialized in labour law in proceedings related to the interpretation and application of collective agreements, labour laws, human rights charters, disciplinary measures or termination of employment.

He has vast experience in occupational health and safety since a major part of his professional activities is devoted to represent employers, namely in matters of employment injury compensation, contribution classification, and cost allocation.
