If a litigation is inevitable, our seasoned attorneys have the experience and skills to assert your rights before the courts and thereby see justice done.

an alternative conflict resolution.

Beauvais Truchon’s business model, based on human dimensions in both format and professional approach, has always been what sets us apart. Our lawyers demonstrate empathy in their client relationships, fostering deep understanding of their clients’ needs and enabling them to plan preventive measures for the resolution of conflicts, whenever possible, thereby preventing the situation from escalading. However, if a dispute does arise, we become proactive in the search for alternative modes of conflict resolution, such as mediation or arbitration, which opens the door to a less impactful solution for the client, namely in terms of time and costs.

In these alternative modes of conflict resolution, unlike with traditional trials, a neutral third party, mutually agreed upon by both parties, is appointed to intervene in the resolution of the dispute. Mediation facilitates settlement discussions in order to reach an agreement that is satisfactory for both parties. The signing of a written agreement seals the dispute. In an arbitration procedure, each party makes representations and the arbitrator renders a binding decision.

When the need arises, and upon approval of all parties, Beauvais Truchon has experienced lawyers qualified to act as mediators or arbitrators.
